I've discovered that it's really hard to be away from him! Cody and I took a trip to St. George last year for our anniversary and left Joshua with my mom, so I figured this wouldn't be hard at all...but it's different to be at home and have Joshua not there. Coming home from work, walking in the door, and not seeing him at the top of the stairs and eager to tell me about his day (Mommy, I built a train!)...it's rough.
Like a lot of parents, I occasionally let Joshua play with my cell phone. It's a touch screen, and he's learned how to access pictures and videos, plus he'll sometimes explore and do things like change the name of my daily alarm. Anyway, I was looking through my phone yesterday and came across something that cracked me up. While editing my address book, I found that he had assigned a picture to one of my friends. What made me laugh the hardest was the expression on his face--it's almost like he's saying, "Haha, Mommy! Look what I did!"

Awesome. Love it. =) I bet he's been having tons of fun with Momma and Poppa (I'd've written "Mama and Papa" but those seem like more parental spellings than grand-parental spellings...)
Awww, that's so sweet! You think that you would welcome a break from your kid(s), but then when it actually happens? You can't wait to be with them again! You're a great mom, Carina! (((HUGS)))
He is such a cutie!
Gotta love that smile. And thanks for sharing your son with us! We had a BLAST with him! It's so fun to spoil the kids and return them to their parents. ~"Momma"
How fun to spend time with your family! I would miss Reece like crazy, too, so I understand your sentiments. Joshua is a sweet boy. BTW, my new RS president reminds me so much of your mom that I thought they must be related. No such luck, though.
