After Thanksgiving dinner today, Joshua grabbed the camera and proceeded to give us a little glimpse into how he sees things around him. Enjoy!
Can of chicken broth on the counter: The tops to the sparkling cider we purchased: Side of our desk. Wow, it looks old. Aunt Brianne's legs and feet: This duster is one of Joshua's favorite toys: Aunt Brianne is silly... Very silly. Joshua loved "helping wash the dishes"... Yes, this is the current contents of our kitchen trash. Close-up of our carpet. Daddy is not amused by Joshua's incessant photo taking... Catalogs littering the floor... You'd think we were preparing for Black Friday, but we really weren't. His toy box!
Dude. I'm a creeper. Haha these pictures are cute. Silly Joshua. He's so short! Also, I love how the first picture of Joshua helping wash the dishes shows my hand and part of my chest...yikes.
"Playing footsies with mommy, oh yeah!" (ask us if you want the context here)
"Here, Mommy, let me help you get up, because you don't know how to get up with a baby in your tummy."
Joshua: "Mommy, I love you." Mommy: "I love you, too, son." Joshua: "ANGRY BIRDS!!!!"
(After falling off a swing at the park, he starts whimpering) Mommy: "Come here, Joshua, and tell me the story." Joshua: *climbs up on my lap, then sniffles* "Um, once upon a time, I was on the swing..."
"I gotta tell ya somethin'."
"I'm doing the I love you sign! I'm still doing it! I'm still doing it!" (which he shouts as we exit his room at bedtime)
Mommy: "Is London (girl at daycare) your girlfriend?" Joshua: "Yes, and Nicky (boy at daycare) is my boyfriend."
Mommy: "Do you know who is coming over tomorrow?" Joshua: "Yes, I do!" Mommy: "Who?" Joshua: "What?" Mommy: "You just said you know who is coming over. Who is it?" Joshua: "I don't know."
Mommy: "It's a party!" (because my sister and brother-in-law were in the car with us when I picked Joshua up from daycare) Joshua: (looking out the window) "Aww, I missed it!"
"Mommy, the sun is coming up to say hello to me!"
Grandma says: "I love you, Joshua." Joshua responds: "No, you don't! Mommy and Daddy love me!"
"Mommy, can my pet watch TV?" (referring to a large smiley-faced metallic balloon)
Grandma says: "Talk about your mixed metaphors!" Joshua says: "Not my mixed bananaphores!"

Whoa! Through the eyes of a child, indeed!
This maybe one of my favorite posts ever!! It totally made me laugh and I loved seeing his perspective
Love all these pictures!!! It's fun to see the world how a child sees it.
